Job Descriptions

• ETC Course Tutor
  You will be responsible for running our intensive 11+ exam courses. All materials will be provided and full training will be given. You will have assistants working with you to provide support for both you and the children.
  
  
• ETC Teacher
  Teachers working with us on a weekly sessional basis will be responsible for remedial, extension and enrichment teaching to a range of children. You will have support from learning support assistants and or teaching assistants to ensure you can simply teach. All lesson preparation will be done for you and all materials/ books will be provided.
  
  
• ETC Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
  Your role, in addition to supervising children whilst they work, is to support and take over as many of the teacher’s duties as you can to allow the teacher to focus on other responsibilities.
  
  
• ETC Teacher's Assistant
  Teacher assistants must above all like children and enjoy working with them. You will be expected to mark and comment upon the work each child does. You will be responsible to the teacher and will be guided by their experience.
  
  
• ETC Assessor
  The assessor is the first person the parent and child comes into contact with, and therefore is the first person that our customers form their first impressions from. You may in fact be a teacher at one of our centres and combine both jobs. Our assessors are fully qualified teachers and will be given full training in administering tests and communicating the results to parents. All results will be returned to us so that we can produce a written report, you will be expected to comment on how the child has got on during the assessment and also summarise what has been discussed with their parents.
