The Kent Test dates have been released by the admissions office of the Kent County Council. Children will sit their exams on the 18th and 19th of September. Registration for the Kent 11 Plus starts on the 2nd of June and closes on the 11th of July. The mathematics, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning has stayed the same.

Schools with 'gang' related problems are trying to crack down on the hostility. A government scheme suggests that the only way in may be to invite 'ex-gang' members to talk to children about the wrongs of gang-related crime.

What annoys me the most when I am marking pupils practice papers is when they leave a question blank. In doing so they are guaranteed to get zero marks for that question, and I thought they were trying to get as many marks as possible!
