Grammar Schools are under attack once again.(Nicola Woolcock in the Times.)

Mr Balls is reported saying:  “Let me make it clear that I don’t like selection. We don’t support new grammar schools.”

His remarks are sure to reopen the debate. Mr Balls is coconcerned that children who do not reach a grammar school may feel that they are failures.

To all of the ETC Students who have passed the Grammar School entry test, a big congratulations. To those students who did their best in the exam but did not gain a place we can help with the appeal process.

We have been waiting patiently for news on the changes to the Kent 11 Plus dates... looks like May is when we'll be getting answers!

The eleven plus examinations are almost upon us, and here at the Gravesend Centre we are gearing up to the final round of Christmas courses that will hopefully help our children get into the schools they want. But recently there have been some rumours as to a change in the 11 Plus selective examination dates for the Kent area.
