How Etc works
We aim to provide the highest quality tuition service to enable each child to reach their true potential. The foundation of our approach is solid planning and preparation. Whether they are receiving 1:1 support or are working within a small tuition group, each child's programme is individualised to their personal learning needs.
To help you to provide the children with personalised support you will use etcACTION, our web based lesson planing tool to produce lesson plans and identify the strategies and resources needed for each child. This allows you to concentrate on helping the child. The lesson plans are also used to evaluate the child's performance plan the next lesson. The feedback collected through the plans can also be shared over the web so that the parents and the child's teacher can be kept up to date with progress. Learning how to use etcACTION is straightforward if you are familiar with the National Curriculum and are comfortable with using a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. We will, of course, provide you with training and with assistance from our support team based at our Kent headquarters.
We are a family firm that values our team members. We have over 150 teachers, assistants and support staff in our team. We take care of the adminstration so that you can concentrate on teaching; you don't have to deal with distractions such as late payments. Our web based reports are generated automatically from the lesson feedback, and can be shared with class teachers and parents so everyone involved in helping the child can see how the tuition support is making good progress.
