October 11 Plus Course 2008
Depending on the date your child will be taking their 11+ exam, this course will either work on revision techniques and confidence building (for those taking the exam in November) or consolidate what the student knows and help him/her prepare for their exam (for those sitting in January).

Course Content
Mathematics
Children are asked to complete a short maths test each day so that we can identify the topics that they should work on. Each child then works at his or her own pace on practice questions.
English
As tests differ, content is designed for each child and includes work on comprehension, punctuation, vocabulary and spelling. Creative writing skills are also covered including paragraphing, planning, content and punctuation. We also work on concentration and timing.
For practice, Verbal and Nonverbal Reasoning are given.
Exam Technique
To better help children and parents prepare for the 11+ exams, we talk to both offering advice on what topics to work on, how to revise etc. We like children and parents to prepare a study schedule together.
