11 Plus Exam and Dyslexia
Some children who study for their 11 Plus examination with the Extra Tuition Centre have Dyslexia or other Special Educational Needs.
Sometimes we are asked to concentrate solely on preparation for the 11+ exam tests on other occasions we give the child support within their lesson on reading and spelling along with comprehension work and vocabulary building.
This enables the child to work at an eleven plus level while we try to build their confidence in their basic skills.
On many occasions we are able to use the report on the child’s Dyslexia to build the content of our lessons.
